  • We are a not-for-profit organisation that runs out of the heart of Whitstable’s creative quarter, with a belief in art that is open for all.

    We are run by committee of volunteers who give their time and professional expertise to ensure the continued success of the Gallery, for the past 25 years and beyond.

  • Our space is curated exclusively by our exhibiting artists, changing each week.

  • Yes - we believe in art that is for the enjoyment of everyone.

  • Anyone is welcome to exhibit at the Fishslab - please refer to our bookings page for guidance.

  • Yes - our gallery is at ground level to the high street, and there is ramp access over one step at the entrance. Please ask a steward upon arrival to set the ramp in place if it has been folded away.

  • Generally, yes - but please do check with the gallery steward on the day of your visit, as delicate artworks are occasionally on display.
