Exhibiting with The Fishslab Gallery is a fantastic opportunity.
We welcome individuals, groups, and organisations of all experiences and abilities to showcase their art in the passionately creative Whitstable community.
As part of a commitment to access to art for everyone, we operate a unique system to ensure everyone has an opportunity to exhibit with us if they wish - find out more here.

We operate bookings on a first-come, first-serve basis; our bookings for 2027 open at 9am on August 1st.
On this day, bookings are made exclusively by calling the Gallery phone, on 07435 066927.
When you get through to us, we will do our best to accommodate your desired exhibition week from our yearly calendar. If you are successful in securing a slot, we will contact you when our phone line closes, with your full contract of hire.
Our phone line gets very busy when we open on August 1st. If you don’t get through the first time, please keep trying - we will speak to everyone who calls!

For the 2026 calendar, our high season bracket runs from the first week of April to the last week of October, at £350. Our low season bracket runs from the first week of November to the final week of March, at £300.

No - our exhibiting artists keep 100% of the value of their sales.

We encourage artists of all abilities and exhibition history to show with us - we love to have new artists in the Gallery. Our volunteer Committee is made up of locals - many of whom are artists themselves - who are on-hand to answer any questions you might have about the whole process, and give advice.

Yes- you may use the ‘contact us’ form on our website to ask to join the waiting list at any point in the year.
We will contact you in the case of any cancellations that arise; many artists on our waiting list find they are able to exhibit in their chosen year.

We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
